The in-hull installation eliminates the need to drill any holes in the hull, while accommodating a large range of deadrise angles. The medium-frequency benefits include the ability to identify targets deeper than the high-frequency with benefit of a wider beam angle. The high frequency provides excellent shallow water resolution.
